I have always been fascinated with the ways in which our increasingly technological world works to maintain its analog past, and I strive to bring this counterbalance to the forefront of my artwork. The resourceful nature of printmaking has made it the perfect medium to accompany me both in my years of world travel and during more reflexive studio periods. I gravitate towards tactile and expressive formats and experiment with various tools and approaches allowing each project to inform the next. I also draw a great deal of inspiration from the peers I have come to know from a variety of collaborations ranging from international art colonies to print workshops I have led in the community. I find my artwork more rewarding when collaborating with others, and I want to continue to share the tradition of hands on creation.
